How do you assess children
with cerebral palsy?
Cerebral palsy assessments can include motor skills tests which pertain to a thorough check of the child's fine and gross motor skills as well as brain imaging tests such as an MRI, Computerized Tomography (CT), cranial ultrasound or Electroencephalogram (EEG).8
A variety of therapies play an important role in treating cerebral palsy:

Physical therapy including muscle training and other exercises can help the child's strength, flexibility, balance, motor development and mobility.
